The 7th Grade Lady Bulldogs won their first round SEI tournament game against St. Louis 41 to 10. The Bulldogs finished the year with an impressive home record of 6-1 and improved their overall record to 13-3 on the season. The girls had 8 different players score in the game. Leading the way was Emma Weiler (10 points), followed by Ava Hanson (8 points), Makayla Granger (7 points), Ashlee Cornn (6 points), Jadyn Harrington (4 points), Sophie Myers (2 points), Kailey Weberding (2 points), and Tiffany Hawker (2 points). The Bulldogs gave a total team effort on both sides of the floor to the beat the Cardinals for the second time this year. Congrats to the girls on making it to the semi-finals where they will play Sunman Dearborn tomorrow night at Jac-Cen-Dell High School at 5:30 pm. Come out and support the Bulldogs!
In final, the 7th grade team lost Ella Wilhelm to injury last night. Coach Weiler, Coach Campbell, and all the girls want to wish her the best. Get well soon!

The Batesville Middle School 8th graders advanced to the second round of the Southeastern Indiana Tournament by defeating the St. Louis Lady Cardinals 42-28. The Lady Bulldogs used a pressing defense to get out to a 14-3 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Ashley Nobbe and Brianna Wells led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points apiece. Other scorers for the Lady Bulldogs were Calley Kaiser with 8, Sarah Ripperger added 7, Gabby Elston had 2 and Carley Pride chipped in 1. The Lady Bulldogs now have a season record of 12 wins and 4 loses.
The Lady Cardinals were led in scoring by Emma Weberding with 12. Also scoring for the Lady Cardinals were Ava Allen scored 6, Katie Voegle added 4, Lilly Wonnell and Faith Tekulve each scored 2, and 1 point was scored each by Allyssa Wanstrath and Chelsea Robertson.
The Lady Bulldogs will play the Sunman Dearborn Lady Trojans at Jac-Cen-Del High School this evening (Tuesday).
