Rushville, In. — Arkansas-based Walmart has announced they will close the Rushville store. The store was opened in 1988, one of the first locations in the state and currently employs 95 people.
Walmart cited an expiring lease and lagging sales as reasons for the closure.
City officials are meeting with the Rush County Economic Development Commission to find a solution.
