Lady Bulldogs Middle School Teams Get W’s Over Lady Eagles

The 7th Grade Lady Bulldogs improved to 3-0 on the season with a road win at Jac-Cen-Del 36 to 14.

After coming out sluggish defensively in the first half, the Lady Bulldogs held the Eagles to just 2 points in the second half with a great defensive performance.  Leading the way scoring was Emma Weiler (11 points), followed by Ava Hanson (9 points),  Makayla Granger (8 points),  and Megan Meyer, Ashlee Cornn, Ella Wilhelm, and Jadyn Harrington with 2 points each.

The Bulldogs will be back in action at home on Monday night vs. S. Dearborn at 5:30 pm.  Come out and support the Bulldogs, as they look to improve to 4-0 on the season.

The 8th Grade Batesville Lady Bulldogs defeated the Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles Thursday night in a great Middle School Basketball game by a score of 36 – 28.

Breanna Wells led the Lady Bulldogs with 14 points. Other scorers for the Lady Bulldogs were Ashley Nobbe with 9, Calley Kaiser with 7, Gabby Elston with 3 Sarah Ripperger with 3 and Carley Pride had 1.

The Lady Eagles were led in scoring by Annabelle Williams with 12. Other scorers for the Lady Eagles were Jalee Rider with 4, and 2 points each from Aundrea Cullen, Kayla Simon, Paige Without, Allison Fullmer, and Emma Newhart.

Both teams will return to action on Monday. The South Dearborn Lady Squires come to Batesville to play the Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Eagles travel to Vevay to play the Lady Pacers of Switzerland County.
