Lady Wildcats Battle Lady Falcons In Volleyball

It was a hard fought battle Thursday Night for the Lady Wildcats Varsity Volleyball taem as they were defeated by The Cambridge City Lincoln Lady Golden Eagles 26-24, 25-27, 25-13, 26-24.

‘There were great digs and great kills from both sides of the net. Meredith Bohman led the night with 13 kills. Kamryn McCool added 8 kills, 2 blocks, 5 digs, and 5 ace serves. Jenna Orschell added 2 ace serves and 3 kills. Kaylee Hedrick had 6 kills and 4 digs. Taylor McCreary had 2 ace serves and 8 digs. Even though they did not bring home the win, the girls played hard as a team.’ Wildcats Coach Tanya Wirtz.

They are back in action on Saturday as they travel to the Randolph Southern tournament.

Another win for the JV Lady Cats 25-19, 17-25, 15-14.

We had a bit of a rough night and went 3 sets to make our record 6-3. This young group of girls are learning to play a sport they love and it’s coming closer and closer each game we play. As long as they remember everything they learn and keep talking the with them, it’s a win for me!!! Great team win tonight against Cambridge City.
