Laurel, In. — A Fountain County woman was killed in a Franklin County crash Friday.
A report from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says at 1:20 p.m. a car driven By Linda Jeffers, 53, of Veedersburg, was westbound on U.S. 52 near State Road 121 when she drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail, then several trees. Her vehicle continued striking a concrete culvert, rolling over.
Jeffers was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
