Rebecca “Becky” Acree Byrd, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away June 30, 2017.
She was born June 1, 1960 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Francis Acree and Nelle Callahan Acree
She was disabled, but previously worked for Aurora Utility Company for 16 years. Becky loved nature and wildlife. She loved horses, birds, dogs and cats. She enjoyed riding motorcycle with Jeff, and also hiking adventures. Becky loved being with family and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her daughter, Marie Byrd of Aurora, IN; boyfriend, Jeff Lange of Aurora, IN; siblings, Teresa Marcus and Cynthia Acree Hamann of Cin., OH; Jackie Melick of Aurora, IN; grandson, Jace Kapetanakis of Aurora, IN; and nephew, Michael Melick of Aurora, IN; .
Friends will be received Friday, July 7, 2017, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 7:00 pm following visitation.
Private Interment will follow in the Buddy Spicer Cemetery in Canoe KY.
