Batesville, Ind. — A Batesville man has been accused of child exploitation and child pornography after an Indiana State Police investigation.
Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit acted on an anonymous tip that led police to David Smith, 24, in the 200 block of Country Club. Investigators say images of child pornography were found on devices and accounts belonging to Mr. Smith.
Smith has been charged with possession of child pornography and child exploitation and taken to the Ripley County Jail.
The Batesville Police Department assisted in the investigation.
