GREENSBURG, Ind. — An Illinois man has been arrested on rape charges in Decatur County.
According to the Greensburg Police, Teddy M. Muriithi, 38, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois is facing a preliminary charge of Rape.
Police say they were called to the Baymont Inn on State Road 3 around 1:30 am Wednesday morning regarding a sex offense.
Investigators say Muriithi performed a sex act on a young woman while she was unaware it was occurring.
At an initial court appearance, a not guilty plea was entered and bond was set at $250,000.
A trial has been scheduled for August 30.
