FRIENDSHIP, Ind. — One person was hospitalized after a crash on Cave Hill Road near Friendship Saturday morning.
According to police, first responders received the call for the accident around 8:15 am.
Police say Jilian Back, 29, was traveling on Cave Hill Road around 12:45 am when she swerved to avoid a deer.
She then went over the hillside and crashed into a tree, causing serious injuries.
Back remained in her car until a good Samaritan, Gary Trowbridge, came upon the accident scene.
He stayed with Back until first responders arrived on scene.
Back was airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Hospital for treatment of her injuries, where she is expected to make a full recovery.
