GREENSBURG, Ind. — Honda Manufacturing of Indiana in Greensburg celebrated the start of production of the new Honda CR-V on Wednesday (10/15).
The CR-V is the first SUV built at the plant since it began production in 2008.
Back in march of 2016, Honda announced new investment of $52 million and the creation of 100 jobs to support the production of the CR-V.
Honda moved production of the CR-V from a plant in Guadalajara, Mexico to the Greensburg facility.
The CR-V is also produced at plants in East Liberty, Ohio, and Alliston, Ontario, Canada.
The plant will continue to produce the Honda Civic Sedan.
