OSGOOD, Ind. — The Southeastern Indiana REMC recently announced they are awarding over $45,000 in grants to 24 groups within the REMC’s service area.
The grants were given as part of the REMC’s Operation Roundup, which allows customers to Round-up their monthly electric bill to the nearest dollar amount, while only contributing a maximum of $6 per year, per account.
The REMC said the money will go directly toward community projects aimed to improve the quality of life in the area.
