GREENSBURG, Ind. — One person was arrested in Greensburg after an altercation over the weekend.
Early Saturday morning, Greensburg police responded to the Decatur County Memorial Hospital regarding a female that had been involved in an altercation.
When officers arrived, they began speaking with the victim.
After speaking with her, officers went to the 700 block of North Ohio Street to speak with the other individual in the altercation.
Police say that when officers arrived, the male was uncooperative.
During the investigation, officers learned that firearms were in the house.
Comments were made that concerned the officers.
The Greensburg Tactical Team responded to the scene.
A perimeter was established around the house.
The Indiana State Police were called in to negotiate with the male subject.
After several minutes, officers took the subject into custody.
Two officers received minor injuries during the apprehension.
After being released from the hospital for evaluation, the male was booked at the Decatur County Jail on several charges.
Police have not released the name, pending the completion of the investigation.
