The Batesville 7th grade boys lost Monday night to the Connersville Spartans by a score of 42 to 19.
The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Eli Pierson with 7, Cole Werner with 5 and Ean Loichinger with 5. The 7th grade boys are now 3 and 2 on the season.
They will play again Tuesday night at North Decatur.
The boys 8th grade improved to 3-2 against a scrappy Connersville team by a final of 35-21.
RJ Powell led all scorers with 10. Calvin Sherwood added 9. Trey Peters and Mason Barker scored 8 and 6 respectively with 2 threes a piece. Austin Cornn rounded out the scoring with 2points.
We will be in action tonight against North Decatur. Make the short trip to Greensburg and support your middle school teams. Go Bulldogs!!

The Freshman boys basketball team bounced back from their opening loss by beating South Decatur 46-14.
The Bulldogs were in control most of the game and got out to a great 18-0 start after the first quarter. We out rebounded South Decator 34-18, and also won the turnover battle 10-19.
The Bulldogs were led by Charlie Dice who had 14 points, followed by Jacob Deutsch with 8. Scores by quarter: 1st qtr: 18-0 Batesville. 2nd qtr: 30-5. 3rd qtr: 43-12. Final: 46-14.
The Bulldogs will face South Dearborn tomorrow at Batesville Primary School at 6pm.
