BATESVILLE, Ind. — A local business in Batesville is honoring veterans every day, not just on Veteran’s Day.
Cecil Ison, owner of Ison’s Family Pizza says, “What we wanted to do was to salute the local Veterans. We wanted to do it every day all day, not just on Veteran’s Day. So we picked the back wall in the front dining room so you can see it from outside on the street, or on the sidewalk. We’re just saluting them with a picture, their name, and their branch of service, to honor everyone, because if you’ve served, and especially if you have been overseas serving, you have sacrificed. I don’t care who you are, what you’ve done, what job you did in the military, if you served you have sacrificed.”
Ison is asking for anyone in the community to submit a picture of a service man or woman that you know.
