James E. Wesemann, 77, of Aurora, IN, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 in Aurora, IN.
He was born Wednesday, November 23, 1938 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Carl Wesemann and the late Elma Kaiser Wesemann.
James served his Country as a member of the United States Air Force.
He worked as a Color Lab Tech for Monsanto, retiring after over 32 years of service.
James was a Life member of St. John Lutheran Church and he also attended St. John School. He loved to dance, he would go dancing every Friday at the adult center. He enjoyed riding his tractors, but his passion was working on the farm for 50 years, raising hogs and cattle. He even collected John Deere Tractors, both full size and miniature ones. But his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a kind and loving man and will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his loving wife of almost 56 years, Corinne Wesemann; children, Rhonda (Jeff) Moore of Aurora, IN, Wendy Kessen of Miamisburg, OH, Jeff Wesemann of Aurora, IN, and Terri (Tom) Keith of Tulsa, OK; siblings, Marian (late Clayton) Bentle of Milan, IN, Linda Wesemann of Dillsboro, IN, Shirley Daugherty of Pensacola, FL, and Jean Wesemann; grandchildren, Selena Molique, Brooke Hurley, Brandon & Brittany Gabbard, Angeline Wesemann and Courtney Rudicel; 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received Thursday, July 28, 2016
from 5:00-8:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church, 220 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held Friday at the Church, at 11:00 am with Pastor Edward Davis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of local Veterans Service Organizations.
