The 6th grade St. Louis girls basketball team was defeated by the Greendale Tigers 20 to 9. The Cardinals came out strong with a quick 6-0 lead. At halftime it was all tied up 8-8. The Tigers had a big 3rd quarter stopping the Cardinals from scoring, and leading to their victory. The Cardinals were led in scoring by Claire Baker with 3. Cassandra Meneses, Lydia Dwyer, and Isla Padgett each had 2. Katie Hammond was a key offensive player. Evelyn Ollberding and Lucy Brelage played stellar defense. Although suffering a loss, the Cardinals played good basketball.
