Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 4,347 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 434,642 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,446,551 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 17.8% positive rate and 129 new deaths were reported for a total of 6,657 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,159 cases and 33 deaths reported (up 25 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,805 positive cases and 52 deaths (up 13 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 997 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 14 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,068 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 11 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 63 new positive cases and 3 new deaths.
