On Thursday night, the 5th grade Lady Cardinals faced the physical Greendale Tigers. The Lady Cardinals started fast in the
first quarter getting out to a 4-0 lead. They entered halftime with a 6-0 lead. The second half started with a score from the visiting Greendale Tigers, but the Lady Cardinals played stifling defense and held strong for the win. The Lady Cardinals’ points came from Isla Padgett with 4 points and Katie Hohenstein with two points.
The Lady Cardinals hit the court again next Wednesday at home versus Laurel. The 5th grade game tips at 6 pm.
