(Milan, IN) – The Milan ’54 Hoosiers Basketball Museum recently donated to Milan Elementary School copies of their new children’s book “Nice Guys Finish First: Life Lessons from the 1954 Milan Indiana State Championship Basketball Team.”
The book features each member of the legendary ’54 team and teaches basic basketball terms, encourages developing good habits and contains character building tips along with a bit of Milan history.
The book was given to each classroom in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades and extra copies were donated to the school library for students to check out.
The book can be purchased at the Museum for $10.
