50 pounds of high-grade marijuana confiscated in Dearborn County drug probe

Lawrenceburg, In. — The Dearborn/Ohio County Special Crimes Unit recently arrested three marijuana dealing suspects and confiscated 50 pounds of high-grade weed.

In December of 2017 police had received tips about marijuana trafficking from a residence in Dearborn County. Over the next few months police determined the marijuana was coming from Colorado.

On July 1 the Special Crimes Highway Interdiction Unit stopped a car driven by Larry Fagin, 43, of Lawrenceburg, on I-74 in Dearborn County. During the stop police recovered 50 pounds of marijuana and arrested Fagin. He has been charged with dealing in marijuana(more than 10 pounds), conspiracy to deal marijuana(more than 10 pounds), corrupt business influence and maintaining a common nuisance.

As a result of that traffic stop search warrants were executed at two other locations and two other arrests were made.

Jeffery Scott Moore, 38, of Lawrenceburg, has been charged with dealing in marijuana(more than 10 pounds), corrupt business influence and maintaining a common nuisance. Katie Lindeman has been charged with corrupt business influence and maintaining a common nuisance.

A fourth suspect, Joshua Fleek, 34, of Okeana, Oh, remains at large and is wanted for dealing in marijuana(more than 10 pounds), conspiracy to deal marijuana(more than 10 pounds) and corrupt business influence.

This is an ongoing investigation.
