44th Annual Batesville Music and Arts Festival June 21 – 23

Batesville, Ind. — The Batesville Music and Arts Festival including the WRBI Country Music Showdown is June 21 through 23. The event is sponsored by the city of Batesville, Rural Alliance for the Arts, Ripley County Community Foundation and the Batesville Chamber of Commerce.

This Wednesday come to Liberty Park for a performance by the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Thursday the Rural Alliance for the Arts invites the public to the Community Art Show at Amack’s Well from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A Concert on the Village Green featuring Stephanie Rampton presented by Miss Shanon’s at 6:30 p.m. and the Saffire Express Band from 7:45 to 10 p.m. Food and beverages from local establishments will be available.

Friday the festival wraps up with the 36th Annual Country Music Showdown from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. As many as four country acts will compete for a $500 grand prize. Sandwich, snack, soft drink and dessert sales begin at 5:30 p.m. The show is sponsored by WRBI, Jim True Ford, Izzy’s Catering and Snikkers and Peanuts in Batesville.
