Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,022 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 684,020 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,224,904 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.1% positive rate and 41 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,617 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,584 cases and 73 deaths reported (up 11 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,756 positive cases and 92 deaths (up 7 new cases), Franklin County has 1,630 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 3 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,304 positive cases and 66 deaths (up 1 new case). This is an increase of 22 new cases and 1 new death locally.
