K of C donates funds from Tootsie Roll Drive

BATESVILLE, Ind. — You’ve certainly seen Knights of Columbus members giving away tootsie rolls for small donations at four-way stops. But where does the money go?

The Batesville Council of the Knights of Columbus had a record breaking year as they raised $10,431 during the Tootsie Roll Drive.

The K of C is donating the funds to the following organizations:

Gibault Inc
New Horizons Rehabilitation Services
Tri-County Council For Special People
Sunman Diagnostic Center
Batesville Deanery Special Religious Education (Oldenburg Academy)
Saint Louis School Special Education Fund
Special Olympics Ripley/Ohio/Dearborn Counties

Batesville is in the top ten among Knights of Columbus statewide for funds generated through this fundraiser.
