According to an article I read in the Indianapolis Star, Purdue is looking forward to a healthy season for Jacquil Taylor. He is a 6’10” agile big man who has been injured since arriving at Purdue 3 years ago. He is finally completely healthy and is expected to take up some of the slack left by the departure of Caleb Swanigan who turned pro.
Purdue basically returns everyone except Swanigan and has a highly rated freshman class. It includes 6’6″ guard Nojel Eastern who is projected as a potential super star. If Purdue can consistently hit from the outside, they should be near or at the top of the Big Ten again this year.
