DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. — A man attempting to cross a highway in an off-road vehicle was seriously injured on Sunday.
The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department says George Richards, 66, of Milan, was attempting cross State Road 350 from Mt. Sinai Road, but was hit by a car.
Richards was flown to the University of Cincinnati hospital in unknown condition.
The driver of the car, Nancy Lunsford, 33, of Aurora, was also injured in the crash, and was transported to the Dearborn County Hospital.
Police believe drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
