Larry Hornbach, 70, of Harrison, OH passed Sunday, December 16, 2018. Larry was born and raised in Yorkville, IN, attended St. Martin’s parish and school, and took great pride in that. He was a stellar athlete and played baseball, basketball, football and track in high school and continued his baseball and basketball career at Marian College in Indianapolis where he was an All-American baseball player and was inducted into the Marian Hall of Fame. After college, Larry taught math and coached baseball and basketball at Aurora High School and then at South Dearborn High School. He also coached many other youth teams. His coaching career was highlighted by a legion baseball state championship in 1985 and an AAU Indiana state high school boys basketball championship in 1998.

Larry leaves behind his sons Jon of West Chester, OH and Tony (Tiffany) of Green Township, OH and sister Linda Hornbach of Harrison, OH. He was a loving Grandpa to Andrew, Luke, Ava, and Ella. He is preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Floyd Hornbach.

Visitation will be held at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home on Friday, December 21 from 4-7pm. Rosary will begin at 3:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Parish, St. Martin’s Campus Saturday, December 22 at 10:30am with burial immediately following.
