Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has reported that 879 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 118,322 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,366,294 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.6% positivity rate and 11 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,365 Hoosier deaths across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 675 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 10 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 459 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 1 new case), Franklin County has 313 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 2 new cases), and Ripley County has 304 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 4 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 17 new positive cases.
