Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 6,687 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 626,682 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,957,867 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.2% positive rate and 94 new deaths were reported for a total of 9,598 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,034 cases and 47 deaths reported (up 86 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,547 positive cases and 83 deaths (up 28 new cases), Franklin County has 1,534 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 16 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,073 positive cases and 48 deaths (up 26 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 156 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
