Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 2,480 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 672,554 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,166,538 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.2% positive rate and 64 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,446 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,538 cases and 72 deaths reported (up 7 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,726 positive cases and 91 deaths (up 3 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,610 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 3 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,285 positive cases and 64 deaths (up 2 new cases). This is an increase of 15 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
