Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,240 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 687,713 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,262,518 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.1% positive rate and 9 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,642 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,598 cases and 73 deaths reported (up 4 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,763 positive cases and 92 deaths (up 5 new cases), Franklin County has 1,633 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 2 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,310 positive cases and 66 deaths (up 2 new cases). This is an increase of 13 new cases locally.
