Shlebyville, In. — A report from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department says an 11-year-old Shelbyville boy died in a single vehicle crash Friday.
Deputies say Derek Duclos, 41, drove off the roadway near the intersection of Washington Road and County Road 600 South around 9:30 a.m. The vehicle went into the ditch and struck a utility pole.
The passenger, Addison Duclos, 11, was transported for treatment but later died.
The accident remains under investigation.
