A woman connected to the 2011 mass murders in Laurel is headed to prison.

Amanda Napier pleaded guilty in Franklin County Circuit Court on Wednesday to conspiracy to commit armed robbery and conspiracy to deal in a controlled substance (both class B felonies).

She is believed to have arranged the drug deal that ended in the murder of five people in September 2011 on Stipps Hill Road.

48-year-old David Ison pled guilty in 2012 to the murders and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

On Wednesday, Napier was sentenced to 12 years in prison for each count, with  four years suspended, totaling 20 years behind bars.
