Winter Weather Advisory For WRBI Area

The National Weather Service issuing a Winter Weather Advisory for The WRBI Listening Area in effect Friday (1-24) at 9 PM through Saturday (1-24) at 7 PM.

Overnight snow accumulations 1-3 inches possible.  Wind chill readings 15-20 degrees below zero. Winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour.

The frigid conditions will be dangerous to those venturing outside.  Prolonged exposure may cause frostbite.

Travel difficulties are expected due to reduced visibilities and snow accumulation.

Use common sense while outside, dress warmly, and make sure all exposed skin is covered.   Use caution while driving.
