William L. “Bill” Banschbach, 86, of Aurora, IN. passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his home in Aurora, IN.

He was born Wednesday, August 17, 1927 in Greendale, Indiana, Son of the late Herman Banschbach and the late Mary Doerr Banschbach.

Bill was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and worked 44 years of loyal service for Joseph E. Seagrams & Sons. Bill was a devoted and loving husband and father. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. He was a devoted baseball fan and loved to watch the games.

Surviving are Daughters, Brenda (Marvin) Murr of New Haven, IN., Jackie (Late, Bill) Kleine of Moores Hill, IN. and Nancy Dupps of Aurora, IN.; 13 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and Several Great Great Grandchildren; Brother, John (Margaret) Banschbach of Rising Sun, IN.; Sisters, Mary (Roy) Mitchell of Sunman, IN., Rita (Dave) Leone of Clayton, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Loving wife of 67 years, Patricia Negley Banschbach; Sons, Christopher and Mark Banschbach; Grandsons, Robbie Zell & Adam Banschbach; Brothers, Fred, Joe (Norma), Jerome (Jeanette) and Cornelius (Bonnie) Banschbach.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Stephen Donahue officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
