Several employees at Hirlinger Chevrolet along with Ted, Mike, and Steve Hirlinger broke ground today at the future site of the new Hirlinger Chevrolet.

Several employees at Hirlinger Chevrolet along with Ted, Mike, and Steve Hirlinger broke ground today at the future site of the new Hirlinger Chevrolet.

Hirlinger Chevrolet recently broke ground on a new dealership location.

The business will be more visible to interstate traffic as it relocates further west on Harrison Brookville Road, near the I-74 exit 169.

It will be situated on an 8 acre tract of land which will allow for 200 vehicles in inventory upon completion. The building will feature an exterior facade with signage; a showroom featuring a customer lounge and children’s amenities.

“We are so fortunate to able to serve the community in a more accommodating and updated facilty,” said Steve Hirlinger, Treasurer.

The Hirlinger family has been in business in their current location for over 33 years, and about 75 years total.

“We are looking forward to opening up the new facility sometime late Summer of 2014,”said Ted Hirlinger, President.

The Sunman American Legion will have a military service at the cemetery at 11 AM. Also, the United Methodist Women are service a roast beef dinner from 11 AM to 1 PM. The menu also includes mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans, various salads, and homemade pies. Freewill offering. Carry-outs at $9.
