Severe weather is possible as showers and storms move through the region Wednesday.

Isolated showers are possible throughout the day with the best chance of rain during the afternoon and evening hours.

“All modes of severe weather are possible it just looks like the highest likelihood would be damaging winds. But you cannot rule out large hail and isolated tornadoes as well,” National Weather Service meteorologist Alex Latto said.

The possibility of severe weather is due to the storm accompanied by a warm front.
