Wanda  J. Kaiser, 81,  of Lawrenceburg, IN, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was born Thursday, January 5, 1933 in Cambridge City, Indiana, Daughter of the late Otto Rudisell and the late Lillie Mae Cormican

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church Aurora, Ladies Aid Society, Dearborn County Women’s Leader and Secretary for Farm Bureau.  She served as the District 10 Women’s Leader for Farm Bureau for 9 years.  In her younger years with six children, Wanda  spent her time raising her family and was active  in PTA.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed old western movies, (especially John Wayne Movies) Wanda was always very active with her family and when the children were all raised, she went to school for her LPN  nurse’s training, to continue helping others.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are her Husband, Clarence Kaiser of Lawrenceburg, IN;  Children, Jeanine (Johnny) Moore of Aurora, IN, Robert (Pam) Kaiser of Aurora, IN, Richard (Fran) Kaiser of Sacramento, CA, William (Michelle) Kaiser of Burlington, KY, Ruth (Jerry) Adock of Lafayette, IN; Sisters, Wilma Tinsley  of Dallas, GA & Iva (Bill) Long of Macon, GA; Grandchildren, Jody, Alisha, Laura, Rachel, Tiffany, Jessica, Andrew, Elizabeth,  Shanna, Shillo, Benjamin, Christopher, Jacob, Johnathan, Ashlee, Whitney, Jim, Derek, Carlie, Kendra and Robin; 29 Great Grandchildren & 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Daughter, Phyllis Ann Kaiser Smith.

Friends will be received 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church, 220 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church Aurora, Friday, at 11:00 am with Pastor Edward A. Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, (Bellaire) Lawrenceburg,  IN.

St. Louis Catholic Church is having their Mock Turtle Soup Sale! Monday, September 15- noon-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 16- 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 17-Friday, September 19- 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Sunday, September 21- during the annual St. Louis Church Festival, theMock Turtle Soup will be available for sale until it’s gone. Please enter through the Activity Center doors only! The soup will also be available through the week at Schmidt’s Bakery during their normal business hours. If you have any empty quart, half-gallon, or gallon jars you can spare (or canning lids and/or rings), you can bring them to the SLS Activity Center or Schmidt’s Bakery, as jars and lids are still needed to bottle the soup throughout the week.
