Vandals strike grave of fallen Lawrenceburg officer  

LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. – Authorities are seeking answers after the grave of a fallen officer was vandalized.

The headstone of Sergeant Thomas Cochran was found spray painted with the word “pig” at River View Cemetery.

Dearborn County detectives say they want to identify the vandals and anyone with information should contact the department at (812) 537-3431.

Sgt. Cochran passed away in 2005 after an on-duty crash on State Route 48.
