Financial issues have forced two local businesses to close its doors.

Custom Conveyor and Stapp’s Circle S Ranch on S.R. 46 will close, according to the Greensburg Daily News.

James Stapp, who owns the zoo and business, attributed the closure to a customer who has not paid a million dollar debt.

Custom Conveyor installs conveyor systems around the world, including in factories such as Honda in Greensburg, Chrysler and Peterbilt. Stapp, 69, has owned the business for 33 years and currently employs approximately 20 people.

More than 100 people used to work at the company.

The exotic zoo located next door is partially funded by Custom Conveyor. The zoo has been in business for the past 15 years with exotic sheep, bison bears and longhorn cattle.

No word on when the businesses will be closed, but the zoo does remain open Monday- Sunday.

Stapp’s Chircle S Ranch is located at 4858 S.R. 46.
