Union County Grad Named To Georgia Tech Hall Of Fame

LIBERTY — A 2000 Union County High School graduate will be recognized for her collegiate success on the volleyball court.

Lynette Moster will be inducted in the Georgia Tech Athletics Hall of Fame in October.

According to the Liberty Herald, Moster was a three-time All-American and 2004 ACC Player of the Year while playing at the Atlanta-based college.

Her volleyball career began in Union County where she broke multiple records that are still standing today. Moster is back in Liberty this week hosting a volleyball camp at the high school.

She is currently the assistant volleyball coach at Northern Illinois University.
