Two Greensburg FFA students named national finalists

GREENSBURG, Ind. – The Greensburg FFA Chapter was well represented at the 2014 National FFA Agriscience Fair during the national convention in Louisville last month.

According to the Greensburg Daily News, students Ranae Kramer and Madeline Schroeder were national finalists in the competition that focuses on the science and technology of agriculture.

The pair presented a project about natural pest deterrent in order to preserve food in Somalia, the newspaper reports.

The FFA organization was founded in 1928 and works to develop student success through agricultural education.
