Twisters Blank Wildcats In Boys Soccer

SoccerOldenburg Academy Boys Soccer team beat Franklin County 3–0 on Tuesday night.   The OA JV team also won 1-0.

Aaron Huber gets OA on the board early in the second half as he adds on to his total goals for the year which stand at 14 now. Luke Weisenbach scored the second goal on a PK from a hand ball in the box. Tyler Wachsmann got his first Varsity goal as he netted the third and final goal of the night. Give credit to the Franklin Co. defense and keeper as we had a season high 28 shots but had a hard time scoring as we were kept at bay the first 40 minutes.

Our defense did a great job as they recorded their 4th shutout on the year.

Jacob Henson scored the only goal of the JV game on a PK from a hand ball in the box. This was Henson’s first career goal against a lot of his friends since he is from Franklin Co. Elliot Jarman had 1 save and Sam Rippe had 3 saves for OA.
