CINCINNATI – The search for an elderly Ohio couple tragically came to an end Saturday, four days after they were reported missing.
Robert Gleason, 85, and Marian Gleason, 86, were found dead in their vehicle which had crashed in a wooded area behind their neighbors house.
The couple left their West Chester residence Tuesday morning for a doctor’s appointment but never returned home.
Their absence led to a frantic search that spanned as far as Ripley County.
Their children told police the couple recently spoke about visiting property they owned around Milan.
On Saturday, members of Texas EquuSearch, a private search and rescue organization, looked for the couple near the property. We spoke with a bystander who told us the search even involved helicopters.
The mission abruptly came to an end when the Gleason’s were discovered back in Ohio.
