Thunderstorms Moving Through Region Overnight

BATESVILLE — A line of showers and storms are moving through the region late Tuesday night. The overnight hours may feature watches and warnings issued across Southeast Indiana by the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued in Rush County around 11:40 p.m. Tuesday. More are likely to follow.

Forecasters are telling us the main threats are damaging winds, potential hail, flooding and heavy rainfall.

A watch means severe weather is possible during the next few hours, while a warning means that severe weather has been observed, or is expected soon.
