The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for parts of Southeast Indiana on Wednesday. It is in effect until 9:00 p.m. The counties included in the watch are Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland.
A flash flood watch is in effect for most of the listening area until 2:00 p.m. Thursday.
A tornado watch means that some storms may be capable of producing a tornado.
In the event that a tornado warning is issued, it means that a tornado is either occurring or imminent based on radar and residents should take cover immediately.
