The Manning Brothers

May 14, 2014

Continuing the theme of siblings in sports–Did you know that there were three Manning brothers who played high school football in Louisiana?  Everybody know Peyton and little brother, Eli, but only the true football fan knows their older brother, Cooper.  His career was cut short by spinal stenosis.  This is a debilitating disease, but it has not kept Cooper from making a name for himself in the business world.

Some people say that Cooper was better at football than his two brothers, but this is hard to argue with what Peyton and Eli have accomplished.  Of course, we will never know.  Peyton, now 38,  has been in 13 pro bowls and has one Super Bowl MVP to his name.  He played his college ball in Tennessee and his pro career in both Indianapolis and Denver.

Eli, now 33, played his college ball at Mississippi and has been with the New York Giants for his pro career.  He has won two Super Bowl titles and is a 2-time Super Bowl MVP.  The history books will have to decide who really was the best!
