St. LEON, Ind. –Sunman-Dearborn School officials could likely make a decision this month on how they will reduce corporation costs.

School trustees have instructed administrators to focus on two options to cut costs, according to the Dearborn County Register.

One includes closing North Dearborn Elementary while adding elementary classes at Sunman-Dearborn Intermediate School.

The second option is to keep all schools open and increase class sizes in lower grades.

School board members have agreed to vote on an option on Thursday, November 20 at East Central High School Performing Arts Center.
