St. Nicholas Defeats the Squires of South Dearborn at South Dearborn on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
7th grade won in 2 sets: 25-15 and 25-17. Jessica Rees and Jill Wilhelm were each perfect at the serving line. Rees went 12/12 with 1 Ace serve, and Wilhelm went 7/7 with 3 Aces. Katie Johnson also helped out serving and went 10/11 with 4 Aces.
8th grade also won in 2 sets with scores of 25-13 and 25-7. Molly Gregg served 16/16 with 6 Aces,and Rachel Kraus went 8/9 with 1 Ace. The girls took control of the game and stuck to their game plan.
They play St. Louis on Thursday at Milan Elementary.
