The St. Louis 6th grade boys basketball team opened up their 2013 season with a 36-17 loss to St. Michael’s at the St. Louis Activity Center.

The entire team hustled on defense taking away any transition points; however, stopping St. Michael’s much taller center proved to be a tough task as he scored nearly half of their points.

The Cardinals moved the ball well on offense which led to a balanced scoring attack with Jacob Deutsch’s 6 points leading the way.

The team’s next action will be Monday, November 4th at home against St. Mary’s of North Vernon.
