Alma Mary Singer, 89, formerly of St. Leon, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, just shy of her 90th birthday, at Bayley Place in Delhi Township. Alma’s greatest joy was being with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to babysit her grandchildren, playing cards and bingo. She was a wonderful cook and known for her delicious pies. Alma was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Wilbur Henry Singer, on December 9, 2005.
She leaves her loving family: Linda Coyne (Jim Coyne) of Peachtree City, GA, Ron Singer (Barbara Rosenberger) of Bath, IN, David Singer (Paulette Miller) of West Chester, OH, Dennis Singer (Janet Humbert) of Fairfield, OH, Diane Weber (Al Weber) of Cincinnati, OH, and Melissa Singer-Reed (Chuck Reed) of Burlington, KY. She also leaves 14 grandchilden: Lynne Coyne, Ron Singer,Jr. (Robin), Kris Singer (Arin), Amanda Metzger (Ryan), Lori Boyle (Josh), Kimberly Eccleston (Brett), Ashley Singer, Missy Mallory (Mike), Brandi Brooks (Joey), Bobbi Crary (Aaron), Becca Singer, Robert Singer, Lee Reed, and Madison Reed. There are 15 great-grandchildren: Christina Gammon, Reed Singer, Raigen Singer, Bailey Singer, Allyson Singer, Isaac Singer, Adelyn Metzger, Jimmy Eccleston, Stephen Mallory, Oliver Mallory, Abigail Mallory, Caleb Brooks, Ella Brooks, Sy Brooks, and Aiden Crary.
Visitation is Sunday, June 26, from 4:00-7:00 with rosary starting at 4:00 at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, June 27, at 10:00 St. Joseph Church, St. Leon, IN. Following services at church, friends and family are invited to celebrate Alma’s life with the family at the St. Joseph Parish Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Bayley, 990 Bayley Place Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45233 and Hospice of Cincinnati, 4360 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
